For the past few months I have been shooting with my Iphone more and more. One of the reasons I enjoy using my Iphone so much is that it makes me think about the image I am trying make. I don’t have to worry about what lens to use, or what f-stop I have to use because do not have control of these things when using the Iphone. The Iphones limitations force me to think about the image I am trying to create.

Another thing I love about the Iphone is that I can edit the image on the Iphone using apps from the App Store. There are a bunch of great apps to choose from. One of the apps I find myself using a lot is the Tilt Shift Gen. This app not only simulates a tilt shit lens but also lets you play around with saturation, brightness, and contrast. So if you have an Iphone just type in the search bar “photography” and a bunch different apps will come up.

So my challenge to you for the next week is to use your Iphone or what ever phone you have to go out and create some images!
